Featurette: Sarah Stewart’s Mission to Love Myself
What inspired you to create the blog?
The story of my Mission to Love Myself started in 2014. I created a private online blog to write all of my thoughts and feelings down. I felt lost in my life and who I was. I had no one to tell all of my feelings to but I wanted the opportunity to talk about them.
I decided to share my story with the world. I hope people can find company, empowerment, and inspiration in my words. We are never completely alone. We all go through the worst and best things. Don't forget to share your story. It will always be important.
What is the one thing you would like readers to take away from the blog?
One thing I would like my readers and writers to take away from the blog is the healing process. Everyone has pivotal moments in their lives and it's so easy to push those moments to the back of our heads. It is liberating to finally let it go. To say this is me, this is what I went through. It hurt but I'm growing from it.
I hope the readers are able to relate to the writers and gain the courage to do the same for themselves.
